All of our Bamboo is hand selected hand split and hand planed for the finest quality Split Bamboo Fly Rods available. As with our tournament line of Graphite rods all of our Bamboo comes with a lifetime warrantee on craftsmanship. Countless hours go into selecting and prepping blanks for our fly rods. As with all of our products we only use top of the line components on our fly rods. Our shop is nestled on the banks of the picturesque Kennebec River in the quaint village of Hallowell ME. In sticking with the tradition of the great Maine Bamboo Masters of the past we specialize in the shorter version fly rods( 6'0"-9"0') for the small out of the way secret streams or beaver bogs.

Blanks - We have hundreds of blanks of all sizes available for the finest fly rods on the market. Among the various tapers available we have a vast selection of your old favorites from F.E. Thomas, Leonard, Hardy, Orvis, Payne, Thomas & Thomas and Winston.

Components - Our reel seats are made by Strubble with inserts from various craftsmen. We use Recoil lite wire guides and in sticking with tradition we use agate stripping guides in your choice of colors. Handles-We only use AAAA select grade portuguese cork for our handles. Hardware- All ferrules and slide rings are jewelry grade Nickel Silver. Wraps-All rods finished with the finest silk available. All of our silk is imported for the finest quality,richest color and best durability. Most rods come with two tips so you are really doubling your investment with two different tips.
